  1. *spits soup across the room* Amazing.
  2. 3 and 4 seem possible, but... not the others so much.
  3. Am I crazy to think he could become the top fantasy CF in the NL in a couple years? Because I can't help but feel that way.
  4. BTS, I just noticed we're Meadows bros. Are you as stoked for him as I am?
  5. If anyone is looking for the article, it's right nyah: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/how-mike-trout-could-legally-become-a-free-agent/
  6. So during exhibition games, you're actually referring to it as 'next season'?
  7. So this is about as inconsequential as a poll gets, but... INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW! So when does next season become this season, and, subsequently, when does this season become last season? P.S. Only 41 days to go until pitchers and catchers report to ST!
  8. And here's an informative article on Stroman's repertoire that I don't recall being posted here before: http://toronto.locals.baseballprospectus.com/2016/12/15/why-marcus-stroman-is-primed-to-take-a-big-step-forward-in-2017/
  9. Here's an article from FanGraphs on Donaldson's dominance: http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/the-overwhelming-dominance-of-josh-donaldson/
  10. BTS not gonna like this.

When will management teams catch on that size no longer matters like it used to? The game has changed so much that, if anything, it's a lot of the big, truculent guys that now have the disadvantage. It's so much faster and more highly-skilled than it used to be. I can understand that things used to be a different way since the beginning of NHL time, but smaller is the new big. For now I guess it will remain a market inefficiency.

Not bad for the 148th overall pick in 2015!

I tuned in when you posted this. That was a crazy shootout. The US constantly had an answer to Russia, and finally scored the back-breaker.
  14. Greene isn't ready. But I think he finally puts it together this season in the minors.
  15. Greenwood used to do that in the BBDL. Is he in this league?
  16. Perhaps. I haven't seen any updates on it in a while.
  17. z3r0s, how's your farm looking these days?
  18. 220 seems about right.
  19. Nah, the emails suddenly disappeared one day about six months back, and I check my junk folders regularly. Also, the board setting, as you laid out above, is still turned on for me. Oh, and I still don't get emails for PMs. This website is a shitshow. Time to pack it in, methinks.
  20. Wasn't King 13, like, 3 years ago?
  21. Outsider's opinion: It seems you're better off just keeping him, Spanky. I'm genuinely surprised you haven't got a legitimate offer for him from someone who's trying to compete this season.
  22. "FanGraphs has Pitch Values based on Baseball Info Solutions pitch type data and PITCHf/x pitch type data. The calculations are the same, but they draw on different pitch classification protocols." Essentially, they are two different systems, hence some of the discrepancies in the data. I've always looked at both to try to get the best possible feel for each player's pitch value. It's not uncommon for some pitches to get incorrectly classified for a multitude of different reasons, so, despite its usefulness and value, it's probably best not to take this data as gospel.
