This is an awful return and you won't convince me otherwise. This is the first time I can recall that I've been left scratching my head at a move this FO has made, so I'll give them that. That's not to say that Thornton isn't a hidden gem, but it's not a good return for a league average SS with four years of control remaining.

I wonder if it's an ablation procedure. If so, I had that done a couple years ago. I ended up with a blood clot afterwards and was on blood thinners for months. A lot can go wrong, though it shouldn't/probably won't.
