I still can't believe this team's management made that comp. Comparing your 20-year old A-ball pitcher to a guy who just had one of the most dominant relief seasons ever. Would be like giving Rowdy Tellez the 1B job out of spring next year, hitting him cleanup, and publicly comparing him to a prime Prince Fielder.

The looting is so sad. I completely understand the motivations behind the protests, and they are valid, but the looting is embarrassing and makes it too easy for people to dismiss everyone protesting as a bunch of criminals.

Still looking to move Ike Davis + maybe a prospect for a SP 4/5 type. Career 127 wRC+ vs. RHP, and a 154 wRC+ through 66 PA this year.

Hard to blame him. After pimping him all spring, comparing him to Betances, handing him a 25-man spot on a silver platter, and then anointing him closer after one game, burning an option year before May rolls around would be a giant embarrassment.

Not even necessarily closing, but he's being treated as a mop-up guy. Estrada literally has the lowest leverage situations of anyone in the pen, which there is no reason for.

Estrada might actually be a very good reliever. Better let him rot on the bench while someone who is probably a very bad reliever gets into countless high leverage situations. Just swallow your pride and waste the option year on Castro.
