  1. Your winning % is like 33% in a league of people that don't watch hockey, so I'm going to assume this is wrong.
  2. Maybe get better shooters. Also, goalies that don't suck.
  3. Then you're getting demolished by a dumn guy in the WTPDL this week. Feel good?
  4. Trade me Mrazek plz.
  5. I'm surprised you think Saunders will be better. He's older than Revere, and has been the worse player over their respective careers, without even considering his injury issues this year.
  6. Kuma is awesome, but his injury history is worrisome. I don't trust him to throw close to 600 IP in the next 3 years. I think 2/30 or 3/45 is more realistic.
  7. found it
  8. lol, I remember that. Paging King.
  9. Fun fact: The Royals out-homered the Jays in the ALCS.
  10. Has there ever been a FA pool this stacked? I don't remember one.
  11. By wRC+ the Jays had a top-5 offense of the last 15 years. There were no fundamental issues with their offense lol.
  12. Those are probably all fair, but I'm not sure they make the team better.
  13. I think it's a pretty safe assumption that his 2+ win CF seasons would have been 2+ win LF seasons. And it's impossible to talk to you when you're being disingenuous. Career 1.99 fWAR/600 = "tracking below 2 WAR per full season for his career". Come on.
  14. I don't understand how you can say Revere isn't a league average LF when he's been that the last two years and 4 of the last 5.
  15. Can we please stop talking about moving one year of Edwin/Bautista for 5 of cheap years of Carrasco?
  16. See offseason roster thread.
  17. I'm just generally against clearing out proven talent to open a starting role for someone who hasn't proven that they can be effective. It's a great way to leave yourself no depth. If Pompey isn't being counted on as an everyday OF from April, he'll be great depth for when an OF is needed. If you trade Revere and DFA Saunders to open a spot for Pompey, what happens when someone gets hurt? There will be 500+ PA for Pompey even he's not initially one of the everyday 3. If he kicks the door down in those PA, then you pencil him in as a starter in 2017.
  18. The current 25-man with no additions will cost around $110M in 2016.
  19. Probably SD. They don't seem to value outfield defense.
  20. Surprised at how many people want to trade Revere. The team finally has a lot of OF depth, why get rid of it? Bautista looked awful in RF and Pompey is probably best as a 4th OF until he proves he can handle more. Revere is a league-average LF, and at ~6.5M he's not expensive.
  21. I want to know the details of how this happened. Who did he call the favour in to? How did this even come to happen?
  22. I think that it's awesome that he can swallow his pride like that. Going from The Boss to like 54372th on the totem poll is a huge change. And he probably doesn't need whatever salary a 1B coach gets paid. Just doing it because he wants to.
  23. Guy must really love baseball. I kind of feel bad for him
  24. Yordano Ventura is not a likeable man.
