    Poor Shapiro - Beeston promises grass in the near future knowing he won't be around to see it through - AA tells the fans he wants Price back knowing he won't be around to see it through - AA and Beeston gut the farm and max out payroll for rentals and expensive talent because they know it's their last year and they won't be around for the consequences Shapiro has to put out fires all over the place.

    He looks like a Brad Ziegler clone as a reliever. Below-average K-rate, tons of ground balls, and possibly some FIP-beating skills maybe. Not what we all hoped for when he was coming up, but a reliable 1-win reliever isn't a terrible outcome. I'd just leave him there.

    Yes, he does. It's completely irrational. I think I used to dominate with him in like MLB 2001 or something and have always had a soft spot for him.
