    I like IP too, but I also really like not going beyond 7x7. I found the LOD to be a lot to track, and it took a bit of the fun out if it for me. I really wish yahoo did sv+hld. Also not a big fan of net SB.

    I like hits a bit better because counting stats are a bit more fun and it rewards you for playing volume, but yeah, they're pretty equal.

    Basically this, and we start drafting in January so we're finished before a bunch of pitchers blow their elbows out mid draft in ST.

    It seems obvious that your goal is experimenting, and not actually coming up with a good league. Which makes sense because you're not in the league. And the things you're saying aren't even true.

    I can only really comment on the DDL, but I don't see an issue with parity at all. The most knowledgeable owners, who have made the best moves have the best teams: silvergun, Dinger, North, njh, TRM, the guy who got to draft Trout etc..., then there's a middle tier of teams who have made significant mistakes that have prevented them from joining the top tier, followed by a group of teams that have made very bad choices and aren't competitive. If you want to join the top tier, or even contend for the playoffs, you are given every opportunity to do so, but you're going to have to make good moves. There's a reason why we're coming up on four years with all original owners: the league is basically perfect. Diverging from a formula that works just for the sake of being different, is ill-advised I think. We have 20 very good guys on this list, and have a chance to have a very, very good league.

    I'd probably back out of a league with less than 20 keepers.

    I wonder if next offseason will be the first in years with no dynasty draft? pre-2013 = DDL pre-2014 = BBDL pre-2015 = LOD pre-2016 = this league

    How many of the ~23 interested parties have bad BBDL teams? Abom, Orgfiller, and L54? I don't think this is a case of a bunch of BBDL members fed up because talent is too highly concentrated at the top of their league.

    Not a bad compromise. I think we'll have at least one LOD spot to fill in the near future.

    jaysfever should get a spot if he wants one. I still don't know if TCA actually wants in, or would be happy to defer a spot to frenchsoup or burlingtonbandit if they want in. TCA: PLEASE RESPOND

    Yeah. I was hoping for a signing, but the relief contracts have been insanity. Trading Hendriks for Chavez is really the only questionable decision this offseason. Maybe the team underestimated the cost of signing a Hendriks replacement? Chavez is going to need to throw 150+ good innings for this to look god.

    Looks like connorp has been added to the confirmed list. That leaves two spots for catsass, jaysfever, frenchsoup, and burlingtonbandit.
