lol, what a ridiculous argument

No. You probably remember me saying that this was the motivation behind the deal.

And yeah, the Napoli trade was criticized by anyone smart the moment it was made.

There's no reason why he can't be at least average there.

Good for KC. They get to keep their best player. Surprisingly cheap contract too.
-
The point is to give the players enough options that they feel comfortable with whoever they choose to talk to. Some won't use the program. Others will.

Oh, thanks for the info.

I love this narrative that AA just worked so much gosh darn harder than everyone else that he burnt out. Like his AGMs were putting in 35-hour weeks and he was pulling all nighters on the reg.

Same. I've progressively lost interest until this year the only game I've watched was Can-US on Boxing Day. I went from devoting 100% of my sports time/interest to hockey to 100% baseball.

My point was that complaining that the team is (ostensibly) weaker than some competitors is silly, because they're better at other positions, and the 25 (or 40) man roster is what actually matters. And if you're going to be weaker somewhere on paper in January, it should probably be the bullpen.

Cool. Now please do the needful and make your LOD pick.

Holy f*** this feels good. Hockey is boring as s***.

I know, I just don't care at all. I'll continue to set them though.

So I guess I just have to pointlessly set my lineups for the months?

Very interested in getting chopped.

The Yankees lose this one.

A lot of pen arms that are either out of options (Delabar, Leon, Jenkins) or have to be offered back to their previous team if they aren't retained on the MLB roster (Biagini). I wonder how many of the four are actually retained. Jenkins probably clears waivers without issue.

Is there anyone who wants in to this league? I've watched one hockey game all year, and I can't fathom caring enough to actually discuss trades.

Was going to post this. He's, at best, third in the baseball ops pecking order down there. Leaving a GM spot because his feelings were hurt and then taking a lesser role somewhere else seems like a terrible set of decisions.
