  1. I don't know what you're talking about. BBDL?
  2. SP holds. Someone should give you a 3rd or something for him.
  3. Speaking from experience: not very much.
  4. It's fun having multiple prospects that aren't complete sacks of s***. Checking MiLB boxscores alleviates the pain of a mediocre pro roster.
  5. Wo. He's been the 24th most valuable player in our league. Betances way behind at 37.
  6. Betances has 44 strikeouts in 22.1 innings.
  7. f***, Moustakas done for the year. Save me, Martin Prado.
  8. This doesn't bother me. Nobody would have kept him past the cut this year, and being a catcher, he'll be back on the scrap heap in short order.
  9. So would it be funny if Appel is the next Arrieta/Carrasco, or has Boxy endured enough pain?
  10. I was thinking this the other day. It almost always ends up being 1000 words about SSS noise. I guess guys can't pump out 5 articles a week without most of it being garbage.
  11. He's so impossibly bad. 7.98 K/9, 4.70 BB/9 and 4.46 ERA in AAA. Does he finally fall off top-100 lists when the midseason ones are released? Roto note for his most recent start lol: Appel failed to make it out of the first inning during his start Sunday for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. His fastball was topping out at 89 mph, down from his typical 94-95 mph velocity in the early innings, Tom Housenick of the Allentown Morning Call reports. (5/25/2016)
  12. Donaldson Bautista EE Estrada Happ Dickey Smoak
  13. I bench that sack of s*** Lind for one of the first times this season, and he hits homers in his first 2 ABs. I hate fantasy baseball.

    NBA Thread

There seems to be a lot of confusion about issues like this. Problem: minorities being held out of the analytics community Not a problem: minorities being less interested than white people in participating in the analytics community There's no evidence whatsoever to suggest that the latter isn't what's happening.

    NBA Thread

Cameron brought up the "problem" of white prevalence in the analytics community several times today in his chat. I don't really understand why it's considered a problem. I don't think there's a systematic bias forcing minorities out; for whatever reason, they just haven't been interested in participating in this particular niche. Does it really matter?
  16. I've done a complete 180 on Estrada. He's so fun to watch work.
  17. You are a shockingly bad poster.
  18. Hopefully just a couple more days of Goins!
  19. I regret not putting in a claim.
  20. I wonder how Anemic0ffense is doing.
