    I'd be surprised if they didn't have free reign to discuss what they want. It's terrifying that Buck used to manage this team. He's kind of an institution now, so I don't really mind him calling games until he can't do it anymore, but the idea that he managed an MLB team is so absurd that's almost unbelievable.

    People used to post all the time about how all they want is 'meaningful games in September', especially on the old forum.

    Pat seems to inexplicably be trying to bring back RBIs as a thing people care about him. Almost every broadcast lately he makes multiple reference to RBI totals, or players being an RBI guy, which I don't remember him doing so much before.

    I don't see why you wouldn't just field the best team possible without gutting your future. Your pitching staff is very good, and your lineup has enough outside of Cruz and Cabrera. You should make the playoffs, and there are no powerhouses, so it's all a crapshoot after that.

    I don't think anyone except that one guy even remotely cares about RISP data. And the UZR passes the sniff test. He was never regarded as a plus defender, then tore his knee up and is now pushing 30. Given all of this, and that DRS also hates him, and that he has looked terrible, I'm inclined to believe that UZR is in the ballpark.

    Given how nobody wanted him last year, and nobody wanted him at the deadline, and nobody in Baltimore wanted to play him after trading for him, it's hard to see how 2/15 wouldn't get it done easily.

    lol, I was shocked about that when I was looking into late round shortstops for BORED and the DDL waiver draft. I assumed he was entering his age 34 season or something.
