  1. It's May and Elvis Andrus is slugging 0.509 and hitting cleanup for Texas. I don't even
  2. hello darkness my old friend
  3. All of this is completely on point. That Carrera article last year was so embarrassing for them, and this s***** article is the same kind of fluff quota-filling garbage that makes them look really unprofessional.
  4. It's like this: they signed him for AAA. He doesn't have to be on the 40-man for that. They needed an emergency starter, so they added him to the MLB roster while looking for options better than Latos. They found options better than Latos, and now want him to once again do what he was signed to do: pitch in AAA while not on the 40-man.
  5. I'd bet that Latos ends up back in AAA. The intent all along was obviously to have him round out the AAA rotation from off the 40-man. The needed him in an emergency, he was predictably bad, and they probably want him to once again help out in AAA from off the 40-man.
  6. Did you just start watching baseball this year?
  7. Surely it is this and had nothing to do with him not being MLB-caliber pitcher.
  8. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-night-seth-smith-turned-into-mike-trout/ FG needs to be a bit more judicious in deciding what to publish. This article is stupid.
  9. I don't know anything about Valdez, but Latos is gone, so this is cause for celebration.
  10. Anybody have a SP4/5 type available for like a 2nd and someone like Josh Naylor (who is good now!)? I'm thinking someone like a Big Erv or Mike Leake. I'm down three starters and the waiver wire is repulsive.
  11. 323/368 I think last year's power was a bit of a mirage though. And if he dips much below 390 SLG, I don't consider him rosterable.
  12. I was dreaming on a 330 OBP and 390 SLG to go with 40 steals and a lot of runs. That isn't going to happen.
  13. Pulled the plug on the Peraza experiment. Would not own again.
  14. I would have said I had the best before the season, then Kaprielian died and Meadows and Crawford have completely bombed in AAA so far. I'd probably have you #1.
  15. Not writing njh off by any means, but the winds of change seem to be blowing in the DDL. His team looks weaker than it has in the past, you're re-tooling, the Pharm Team is mediocre again, TRM's team is in absolute shambles, and even silvergun looks merely elite and not like an unbeatable juggernaut. I see less separation between the top half dozen teams and the next half dozen than there's been since maybe year 2.
  16. I legit thought he'd be a reliable SP4/5 type in 20 teamers this year. I was mistaken.
  17. Damn, lots of disappointing vetrinz hitting the waiver wire in the last few days: Wright, Hammel, Doolittle, Treinen
  18. Interesting. He has good stuff. Definitely better than Tepera.
  19. Judge is going to go through stretches where his swing is messed up because he's so tall, but man can he ever rake when he's going good. I wish I owned him somewhere.
  20. Yonder Alonso is 3 homers from tying his career high.
  21. Hector Santiago has actually been rosterable!
  22. Bellinger isn't being sent down on Friday anymore.
  23. Rodgers has played 8 games this year...
  24. "Whether it was scheduling or other reasons, it never drew enough viewers." lol
