  1. A ranking of all prospects traded at the deadline: https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/ranking-the-prospects-traded-at-the-deadline-2/
  2. The Jays have a policy of not insuring contracts. But I don't know how this works - if Colorado had a policy on his contract, I don't know what happens to it after Tulo is traded.
  3. Tulo, Travis, Solarte, Diaz, Drury, Gurriel At least two of those guys need to get gone.
  4. In the 20 years I’ve been watching baseball closely, the only player I remember walking away from serious guaranteed money is Gil Meche.
  5. He could do the Prince Fielder “not retiring officially but doctors say I’ll never play again”
  6. Is this even the kind of injury doctors would tell him won’t get better? Because there’s no way he’s leaving almost $60M on the table.
  7. It would great if he’s walking away from baseball
  8. Sale to the DL with injured left shoulder. Poor Boxy
  9. Not bad given that the only post-2018 value traded was 3 years of Osuna and 1 year of Oh.
  10. They waited way too long to tear it down. Off the top of my head, the only really interesting piece they received in the tear-down was Yusniel Diaz, and he profiles more as a league-average COF than a star player.
  11. Yikes. That's a bad return for 2.5 years of a solid average SP who touches upper 90s.
  12. I'll be surprised if we were able to move Axford but not Clippard.
  13. I did not expect to get anything for Axford.
  14. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Pitcher with no MLB service time who can spend his option years providing depth, starting immediately. More than I expected for Loup.
  15. Damn, that's insane.
  16. His numbers are actually decent. A bit surprised Loup returned someone who might be kinda interesting.
  17. Rays have added their starting corner outfielders for the next few years today. Their team will be completely unrecognizable.
  18. I have never in my life heard of Jacob Waguespack.
  19. Holy crap, Loup pitched in 369 games here. I barely considered him part of the team.
  20. What am I reading a FG chat? I could get better insights from the MLBTR comments section.
  21. I bet that, behind closed doors, a lot of players don't really care about that and just want to collect their paychecks and go home.
  22. Chris Archer trade is apparently very likely
  23. He's not getting a QO either way, so if he stays in Baltimore he gets an extra month off. I get it.
  24. So ryankalishfan is an MLB insider now?
