I'm not really sure why Tatis (and some other player) are so opposed to an international draft. Many players and former players do support it, and it seems to eliminate a good bit of the predatory behaviour that's currently going on, while not taking any money off the table.

    This also favours the players

Of course the players might actually tank this

I really like the limit on options.

    This seems very fair

Does this mean it won’t be on MLB.tv?

So MLB has agreed to banning shifts? Both sides of this negotiation are ruining baseball.

It was actually "FU BTS" in $100 bills spread out on the sheets of his bed. I've had a security detail since that day.

You don't think they meet tomorrow either, I imagine? Both sides agreed on continuing talks if a deal wasn't met today. f*** me... I guess not. Players are leaving Florida and their socially blasting each other, lol. Damn...

Devastating that these idiots couldn’t get a deal done. There was a lot of optimism last night. Now we sit back and see how many games are missed.

    I think this is happening

Just realized that it's literally you updating this. You're doing god's work. Ive been refreshing all night.

Missing games primarily because you can't agree on a playoff format would be the height of absurdity. But this is MLB, so it will probably happen.

This feels like fantasy baseball owners arguing about minutiae.
  16. BTS
It really does seem like they can't agree on 12 vs. 14 team playoff format.

Starting to sound like a deal might happen tonight. Edit: nevermind
  19. BTS
Yeah, that was my thought as well. I haven't been following super close, so that was the first I've heard of it. I can't believe that's being discussed this late in the game.

Rosenthal thread describing the disagreement on playoff format. How are these idiots still squabbling about the playoffs one day before the deadline and large financial bridges still left to cross?

Forrest Whitley is a non-prospect in most formats. Feels like you can flip Gonzales for someone better unless it’s a 10-team league with keeper limits or something.

    Done

Spanky is the only one who has paid his 2022 dues lol

I'm pretty sure 2024 picks won't show up for another year in Fantrax.

I drafted Vaquero, Grissom, and Acosta in all three leagues, which probably means I overdrafted them by a fair bit.
