    I hate this idea. I like the finality of knowing that the call I just saw is the final call. It should be all human umps or all robo-umps. I don’t want to see ball/strike calls in big moments reversed.

    I don't actually think Canadians would get upset if someone in Mexico or Japan suggested that a Canadian in their league might want to play on a team with a lot of Americans because they speak the same language. That would actually make a lot of sense.

    I will now pump the Rays' tires: I think they'll do something to address their offense and look like ALE favourites come April. Their rotation right now is McClanahan Glasnow Springs Rasmussen Patino Beeks/Chirinos/Romero They need to consolidate pitching/prospect capital into a star bat who can hit in the middle of their lineup.

    Yeah, I think so. Their playoff rotation was just Morton, Fried, and a pretty lucky run from Anderson. Their offense didn't have Acuna, and was carried by dead cat bounces from Soler and Rosario, who both suck. Will Smith was one of the worst closers in baseball that year, but went 6 for 6 in save chances in the playoffs with an ERA of 0 despite a 4.45 xFIP. Mediocre team that had everything break right and went on a miracle run.

    I think the only owner we have to replace is MaineJays. The off-board guy running FantasyNewbs team logged in often during the year, but didn't make many moves. Have one possible lead on a new owner for MaineJays team.

    Just realized that Bell had -0.5 fWAR for SD in the regular season, and is slashing 130/167/261 in the playoffs. It's like everything Preller touches failed spectacularly.
