  1. They owe Stanton, Donaldson, and Hicks 71.5M next season lmao
  2. All of this, plus Acuna was healthy
  3. Yeah, I think so. Their playoff rotation was just Morton, Fried, and a pretty lucky run from Anderson. Their offense didn't have Acuna, and was carried by dead cat bounces from Soler and Rosario, who both suck. Will Smith was one of the worst closers in baseball that year, but went 6 for 6 in save chances in the playoffs with an ERA of 0 despite a 4.45 xFIP. Mediocre team that had everything break right and went on a miracle run.
  4. It's going to be annoying if a mediocre NL East team wins the WS for the second straight year.
  5. I think the only owner we have to replace is MaineJays. The off-board guy running FantasyNewbs team logged in often during the year, but didn't make many moves. Have one possible lead on a new owner for MaineJays team.
  6. One will be an ace. One will blow out his arm. One will suck.
  7. You're not f***ing quitting the league
  8. My DDL rotation was DeGrom Scherzer Wheeler Kirby Gilbert Cortes Singer Springs And I won the league by the skin of my teeth. You're never good enough.
  9. Yeah, good point. I always answer these with 7x7 in mind
  10. I can’t imagine rostering Belly in a 12-teamer. He’s borderline droppable in 20-team leagues at this point.
  11. I feel like Syndergaard is replacement level now in a 12-team league
  12. Singer Sanchez Detmers
  13. Just realized that Bell had -0.5 fWAR for SD in the regular season, and is slashing 130/167/261 in the playoffs. It's like everything Preller touches failed spectacularly.
  14. Padres are going to need Soto to wake the f*** up if they want to win this. He's been pathetic for them in the playoffs.
  15. Clevinger looked a bit cooked this year, and will probably sign a 1-year deal. Maybe his velo ticks back up in year two after surgery.
  16. I don't think Teo has much trade value with his projected 15M salary. Teams don't tend to invest much into non elite corner outfielders.
  17. Didn't realize they were that close to the CBT. I think this is going to be the first offseason in awhile where they don't make splashy additions. Probably trade for a good young SP and take more fliers on pen arms they like a bit.
  18. That would be a tight squeeze. They're at 180 or so right now with current contracts + their arb and pre-arb guys re-signed (minus Thornton and Tapia). And that's with Stripling being allowed to leave. A lot of people are going to be disappointed in the offseason unless payroll is allowed to go to 200+M.

    NHL Thread

    lmao
  20. It's ridiculous that none of these sports will offer the consumer a way to pay a single price for access to all of their games. MLB.TV shows less games every year. No playoffs, no Jays games, Friday games only on Apple etc... People are willing to pay to watch the games they want, but forcing them to buy cable TV is a non-starter.
  21. Yeah. I think it also has live WWE PPVs too lol
  22. Just got a year of SN Now for $200 last week. Pretty happy with the service so far. All NHL games (except local blackouts) + MLB playoffs + Blue Jays regular season next year
  23. Sent an email requesting a refund. customerservice@mlb.com
  24. Hell yeah, even better
  25. BTW, MLB.TV is refunding people $25 if they complain that they decided at the last minute not to show any playoff games on their service. It's like they don't actually want people watching their sport.
