A couple more months of this, probably. But it isn't just him. Machado has been terrible. Tatis was on a massive heater in AAA and has been bad since his recall. Kim can't hit. Nola is a black hole. Their offense is basically just Bogaerts and Cronenworth.

How do the Padres have a team 89 wRC+? Might be time to hire a hitting coach.

Outstanding

One, before the season
-
Except this time I'm begging for offers on my elite hitter at a premium position.
-
I am still shopping Corey Seager.
-
Why are the Braves continuing to roster Ozuna? Just AA's pride?
-
I just realized Manny Machado had a 0.259 xwOBA before tonight's 0-3.
-
We tied 7-7. I'm still having nightmares about Albert Pujols and your army of SP/RPs.
-
I thought the same thing. Awful deal

Scram!

Every year I have to say I was wrong about the angels. This is me doing that this year.
-
Nola would make a great True Cardinal
-
I'll probably be looking to trade for one or two good starters on the right side of 30 (or not far past). Available to be moved: Endy Rodriguez (55 FV and near MLB ready) Christian Encarnacion-Strand Josh Lowe Jeffrey Springs (should be back by ASB next year) Joey Wiemer Ceddane Rafaela 1st, 2nd, 2nd

I'm really struggling with Stuff+ as a metric. Luis Castillo has looked dominant, but his stuff grades out the same as Rich Hill and Zack Greinke. His stuff is a lot worse than Nestor Cortes', per Stuff+.

Their pitching staff has -2.7 fWAR with an 8.08 ERA. It’s remarkable that that they’ve assembled something so bad.
-
Some of these numbers are shocking
-
I don’t mind it
-
Shane McClanahan threw 88 pitches today and induced 32 swinging strikes.
-
So I guess James Outman is a star player now?
-
Man, that sucks. He was a workhorse, and was really fun to watch.

lmao

Yan Gomes just broke up the perfecto by tackling Smyly while he was trying to field a groundball
-
Drew Smyly is absolutely carving the Dodgers up. Perfect through 7 with 9 Ks. Cubs up 13-0.
