Brought up Ross a few pages ago. I'm pretty happy with how good he's been because I shopped him hard to several teams before trading him to you and I didn't want to look like a snake-oil salesman. Guy is legitimately good and has been since returning to the rotation in the second half last year.
Oops, 5 games over. The point remains though, it's going to be tough for you to make it. Three good teams in your way, and IMO you face three top-5 teams in the last six weeks. Buying is definitely bold.
If he doesn't like being called out, he's free to stop annoying people. I'm not even sure what your problem is. People want to play in leagues with people who try to make it a pleasant experience. Randy actively tries to annoy people for attention. People don't like it and don't want to play with him.
Awesome. I have no idea why Randy seems to have an open invitation to forum leagues even though his only purpose seems to be to annoy the living f*** out of everyone.
I dunno, someone else will likely be in control of his team in this league within 5-6 months, and passing on making picks for no other reason than you like attention and want to annoy people is needlessly weakening the team for the next guy.
So to summarize: Randy should be kicked out of the league before he can do any real damage, and a shocking amount of managers don't know how to control-F search.
I don't really see Francisco as much of an asset. He'll probably make $3-4 million via arb next year, and is a guy who can maybe provide slightly above-average DH production as a platoon guy. Maybe.
The Astros have invested more than $6 million in that arm. If they want him to throw a pen session at MMP, they're entitled to do so and anyone who doesn't like it can grow a pair.
So Tyson Ross has been a borderline top-50 asset this year. I got generally terrible reactions from pretty much everyone but Jaysblue when I brought his name up in trade talks earlier this year. I wasn't selling garbage!
