  1. But seriously, if it will end the Craig talk I might be willing to send you Vargas for him if there's a pick coming back to me.
  2. It would be awesome if Jenkins' terrible spring costs him a job and we never see him again.
  3. wOBA is basically a wash according to projections. Fangraphs DC has Trumbo at 0.339 (godawful!) and Craig at 0.328, but Craig is probably a platoon player this year, so that gives him an edge. Overall fantasy value is not close those though.
  4. Steamer 600 is irrelevant for a part time player.
  5. Did we stop using counting stats this year?
  6. Dinger's comments have made it so easy to put a value on Allen Craig that I'm not sure why he hasn't been moved yet. Craig's projections are tangibly worse than Mark Trumbo's, and Dinger thinks waiver pick Ben Revere is more valuable than Trumbo. What's less valuable than waiver fodder? Whatever it is, that's what Craig is worth.
  7. Have you checked Wilson's numbers recently? Guy suxxxxx
  8. Ugh, Dickey is the worst lol.
  9. I don't really see who they could trade that would actually be a significant blow. Norris won't be traded because they need him this year. Same with Pompey. After that I'm cool with anyone else being jettisoned for an impact starter.
  10. I think if anything Toronto's stars have been pretty fortunate in terms of staying healthy. Stroman and Johnson are the two biggest blows in the last 5 years, and really the only two major long-term injuries to key players. I guess you could maybe throw Morrow's sketchy health record in there too.
  11. 2014 - 13th 2013 - 2nd 2012 - 7th 2011 - 19th Average = 10th. And IIRC almost nobody was hurt in 2010. I wonder where they'd place without McGowan missing like 600 games over that time.
  12. I was talking anecdotally, but since AA took over pitching injuries of this magnitude have been pretty rare. Stroman this year, Hutchison and Johnson in 2013, Morrow, and obviously McGowan for most of the last 5 years. Am I missing any? It doesn't feel out of the ordinary at all.
  13. As much as this sucks, the team hasn't had more injuries than average over the last 5 years.
  14. Great move sitting Bob tonight GD. You da real MVP.
  15. Actually, I take my boner back - mlb.com opened up the march 5 boxscore. Consider me at half mast for now.
  16. Bogaerts with his 3rd homer of spring http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/2014-12/17/19/enhanced/webdr03/anigif_enhanced-6120-1418862408-3.gif
  17. GD take Bobrovsky off your f***ing IR.
  18. Should be Norris and Estrada in the rotation. If either of those two suck or another arm goes down, God help us.
  19. I'm pretty sure LeBron James has a sub-90 IQ.
  20. silvergun's stretch of bad luck is getting ridiculous: Darvish - died McGee - out for April Jansen - out for April Lynn - hip flexor issue Lucroy - bad hammy Werth - bad shoulder Edwin - MRI on back
  21. So does every Dominican player spend their nights drinking and driving and doing coke with hookers?
  22. Yeah, it's going to be a sad day when he signs somewhere else.
