I really don't understand where the idea comes from that a 20-year old with 9 innings in A+ ball is going to be an asset to a major league bullpen. If this works out you're probably looking at a 1-2 runs better than replacement. If it doesn't work out, he gets shelled, costs you a win or so, burns an option year, and the team loses an out-of options guy that could have had his job from the outset. I don't understand why this is even being discussed.
