  1. Your division sucks. You're not playing non-playoff teams in both rivalry weeks.
  2. Unless his ERA hovers around 4.5, which it probably will.
  3. I'm definitely not buying catsass' offense as the 14th-best.
  4. Nah. Power ranking had me missing the playoffs in years 1 and 2 too. I think this is my best ranking.
  5. I think there's pretty much zero chance this happens if Cecil is named closer.
  6. Winning two cats might be enough to sneak me in. Jaysfever would need to beat GD by 6. Really hoping GD forgetting to start Bob isn't the difference.
  7. Desperation, your name is PMing commishes to process a trade to get Karl Alzner into your lineup.
  8. Neither are online right now.
  9. Accepted. Can we get a commish to allow this before 3AM?
  10. Send it to me.
  11. LOL at JPA thinking he'll get to play in the AL East
  12. Even just playing Sunday would be fine.
  13. If anyone has a d-man that gets lots of blocks and plays friday and sunday I'll move Bogosian and/or 1st waiver for him
  14. Will Ferrell retires the only player he faces.
  15. Me losing 10-2 isn't at all unlikely.
  16. What tests we talking about?
  17. GD, start your goddamn players plz.
  18. It actually worked out as well as we can expect our guys to work out. Stud - Arrieta, Stroman Solid guy - Tillman, Hutchison relief ace - Britton, Norris relief guy - Matusz, Sanchez new guys - Bundy/Gausman, Hoffman/Osuna Would be a pretty ok turnout.
  19. Relievers who collect a lot of saves end up costing more money. With Cecil only around for two more years, it makes a ton of sense to let him collect saves and drive his market value up for some other team to pay.
  20. Well yeah, but I don't think Gibby is about to break that mold so I'd just prefer to have the best reliever closing.
  21. A lot of people seem to think that setup men see the higher leverage situations, but most of the time that's not true. The two most discussed setup men were Davis and Betances last year, but Holland and Robertson saw the higher leverage situations as closers.
  22. He's arb-eligible in 2016 too. But that's exactly why you would have someone close. Have your best reliever pitch in high leverage situations, and let some other team pay for the saves after the season.
  23. The Orioles rotation was going to be monstrous: Tillman, Matusz, Britton, and Arrieta were going to be stars.
