Jays rotation has been awful through two turns. I really think Buehrle walking is going to be a tough pill to swallow in the offseason. He'll be missed next year.

Well, it's obviously not coincidence. Good pitchers are better than bad pitchers lol. Just one of those series where things don't go well. Throw Martin, Bautista, Donaldson, Reyes and EE into a lineup with decent peripheral guys like Pillar, Travis, and Smoak and this lineup is going to look like a murderer's row for stretches this year against even the leagues' best arms. Maybe it's easier for me to see it when I don't really care how they do and am not feeling down after a rough series.

Toronto's lineup looks pretty dangerous to me. Completely wore down Tanaka in the opener, which they didn't get enough credit for because of the perceived decline in his stuff. The offense will not be a problem. The pitching staff likely will be.

Walking into Toronto and taking 3 of 4 to go to 6-4 with no Cobb, Smyly, or Moore is huge. Great series.

But the difference is the intent, right? A friendly jab from an old friend isn't the same as an insult meant to hurt, hurled by someone with a history of being kind of a piece of a s***. I don't see why you'd treat them as being the same.

Navarro's usage is really the only gripe with Gibbons this year, and really Navarro shouldn't be on the roster anyway. Gibby is great.
