  1. I agree we don’t really need him as this roster is constructed but with the shift gone he might have some solid value again.
  2. Not make or break, but they said they would spend when the time is right and they have stuck by that. The team isn’t on some 2-3 year bubble or it will burst scenario like so many want us to believe. We have other assets and management that want some sort of sustainable winning and hopefully a championship sooner than later.
  3. Did he take a dump in your mouth or something? 🤷🏽*♂️ only reasonable explanation for all this hate..
  4. And if they don’t?
  5. Perhaps but I doubt it as a deadline type of deal. I could see them potentially working out a winter deal for Soto when they have time to address several needs and gear up for the upcoming season. Trading for soto right now isn’t the wisest move imo.
  6. They will almost certainly bring in a couple arms regardless of whatever other moves they make. As frustrating as it is to wait, this will likely play out favourably in their hands in terms of cost.
  7. Can’t let Kikuchi out do me 🤷🏽*♂️
  8. Agree with this. We still have 2 more years of control after this season and we are in win now mode.
  9. Well yeah sure, but at the very least we need someone who can keep us in games and let our bats have a chance. Kikuchi could implode again any day and stripling has done a great job but he’s a 5 innings max guy and when he doesn’t even complete 5 innings that’s where our pen issues become even more glaring.
  10. Fulmer would be a solid addition to the pen even if he isn’t the most attractive name out there. Fulmer and a solid innings eater in the rotation and I think we’re in much better shape moving forward.

This is getting ridiculous with the injuries.

Raptors 7GB. Improved or not by seasons end?

Home court is very important but they just gotta stay relatively healthy. The bench is really deep so no reason minutes can’t be cut back a bit for all the starters without compromising their ability to win games.

This is the time to pace themselves and make sure they have all their guys come playoff time. Half a season to go and it’s pretty obvious this team has a shot to take the East, so forget about regular season records and get everyone ready to wreck come playoff time.
  15. Merry Christmas everyone!!

There is absolutely no way any team should blow a 30 point lead with less than a quarter and a half remaining. Full credit to the raptors for not mailing in the game when it looked like a done deal.
  17. The bench is proving its is deeper than it should be. I wouldn’t be surprised at us trading some Youth for another expiring contract. We clearly need another capable big.
  18. The entire game was a yawn fest and for some reason I stayed and witnessed history. I know leads are not safe in the nba but 23 into the fourth should do it and yet 90% of people stayed to witness history.
  19. Financially it’s a great deal for the jays given where the likely contracts will be for the younger players. I still think adding Price could boost this team and set us up for a huge run of success.
  20. I think it’s time I admit I’m heavily intoxicated. I was at the raptors game. I tried to make a joke that made sense in my intoxicated state. I was refereeing to street fighter. I know you are wise and was hoping you would catch on. At this point my only option is to dabble in the crown Apple...and my giant bag of m&m’s
  21. Given roster flexibility you would prefer Holt over EE?
  22. Ryu and Ken you banana.
  23. What happens when Giles closes for Ryu? Do we all hit PS?
  24. Absolutely I agree, however, adding Price now pushes arms to the pen and pretty much sets the focus on adding one more outfielder or just gambling with what we have. Payroll wise adding Price and Ryu sells a ton of tickets. Add in some nostalgia like EE (who can contribute), and the casuals follow the bat signal.
