Rogers has really impressed me. He got into a few poor counts but he has the stuff to get guys out. Could be an option for the rotation next season if he keeps this up. -
The only guy I would even think about breaking up the top 4 for right now would be Davis. He has been hitting well and until that changes could be an interesting option in the 2 hole. That being said I would still stick with the same top 4 as It gives our 4 best guys with the best OBP's the most opportunities. This lineup has so much power that we can afford to put a big HR hitter like Bautista second and still have enough power further in the order to drive him in.

Looking at the top AL players, Machado has a 4.5 WAR already. That is scary good. As for Jays players, Bautista leads the team with 2.3 WAR.

Given your choices, Peavy no doubt. Guy is still a front line SP and would still be here for next season and would help ease the loss of JJ.

Orioles should contend for the division down the stretch. SP is weak but a strong lineup, defense and pen will win them lots of games.

I think its going to be either the Yankees or Rays, but if I had to pick one I would say Yankees. I think the Jays/Orioles/Red Sox will battle it out for the division.

I am pretty pumped for the upcoming series. I know its still early to be looking at specific series, but a winning series by the Jays gets them super close to the division.

Man I got home at 2pm thinking I could catch the final hour of the game and its already was in the 9th inning, lol. Just glad Dickey had a great game and were back over .500. Now off to Boston to clobber the Red Sox.
