    Does Bautista know wtf he is doing? He had fan support if he just shut the f*** up. Casuals and bandwagoners would of just villainized Shipiro at the end of the season when he didn't get resigned. Now Bautista just looks like an idiot and everyone will think Shipiro and Rogers are justified (which they are), when he walks at the end of the season. Top it off if they agree to an extension with EE, Bautista will look even worst.

    I would hate to let one of the elite hitters of the past 6 years leave but you can see he's losing a step now. He'll be 36 when his current contract is up and even 80M/4years seems like too much. Give that kind of money to Edwin who is arguably the better hitter.

    I'm happy for where it's at. There's a lot of depth at SP now which should perform adequate enough to have us in a playoff spot. I'm looking forward to see Hutch and Sanchez take steps forward as starters this year.

    Are you still crying over AA? He had the opportunity to stay and he chose not to, end of story. I'm sure you would of been screaming for his head anyways if they didn't completely sell the farm to get to the playoffs. You're writing guys off that you barely know anything about, give them a chance. Even with the loss of Price and the lackluster additions I'd still consider the Jays favorites to win the east.

    Yea I'm sure they would of offered him something...not $31 million but something. Really doesn't matter who is GM in Price's case he was never coming back.
