Gibbons did the right thing called him out on the spot and made it clear that that s*** is not tolerable. That's as far as it needs to go anything further than that would just be detrimental. Lawrie's already going to have to deal with the media and everyone on twitter calling him a douche bag , that will be punishment enough.

That wouldn't be surprising, AA keeps praising him. I wonder how many innings he got in during extended spring training or whatever he was doing during the suspension.

I'd still be excited to see Nolin but these rush jobs are a direct product of poor development structure and that falls directly on AA.

This is the first year Brian Parker will handle the draft since joining the team, right? It's possible we might see a different draft philosophy.

I'd take that OBP any day and the power might be coming. I still think it was a mistake to trade him but there's enough talent on the team right now for it to not be a big deal.

Janssen - One of the best closers right now Bautista - He's pretty much been himself, high OBP and power Cecil - Clearly the bullpen has done wonders for him Lind - Can't complain about Lind he is getting on base and giving us decent At bats. Power still needs to come around a bit more. I want to say Rasmus but he either looks amazing or ridiculously bad. As a whole the offense is showing obvious signs of turning around and we are really going to need it to endure these pitching injuries.

I don't know if his shoulder could handle 200IP, but they've always said they like him getting regular rest in between.

Oh yea i remember that, that was pretty inexcusable. Like i said though he says stupid things at times and he should get called out on those especially when he refuses to acknowledge legitimate counter arguments but for 95% of his callers I think his attitude is warranted. I don't think he's said anything ridiculous so far this season although I've missed several post game shows. If he has I'm sure we could come up with a rational argument and present it to him just to see what we get back. I would totally dismiss Wilner if he completely shot down a rational well presented argument.

I don't get the hate for Wilner, he's actually one of the most level headed and rational radio personalities on the fan. He definitely has a condescending tone but I'd say it justified by the amount of ignorant callers he gets. He says stupid things from time to time like JPA being a "fine" catcher and he can definitely be stubborn hearing arguments against his, but he usually puts his ignorant callers in their place most of the time.

I thought for sure they would give him one more start but things have been going pretty horrible. I gotta assume Jenkins will get the call for the next start? -
He has to get at least one more start, there really is no other options at this point with JJ and Happ on the DL. I'd probably only consider Vargas or Jenkins at this point and I really wouldn't want to see them here for an extended period. I really hope Ricky can get his s*** together cause this team could really use the old Ricky Romero.
