    You would think at this point Atkins and the league have all the details they need to comment about it. If they are comfortable bringing him back then I'm good with it. Let the legal stuff take care of itself and what ever comes from it deal with that. I don't think it's bad precedent to set that we are willing to give a guy a second chance after he f***ed up. He's paying the price with a big suspension and still has to deal with the legal proceedings. He's also agreed to go into a treatment program. Of course it could all be smoke and mirrors and he is shipped out as soon as possible. Could just let him finish the season with us and trade him in the off season.

    Nobody is saying he's a top tier prospect, he may be a utility guy or he maybe nothing. I'll take that lottery ticket for rental platoon player who can't stay healthy. It was already going to be hard to fit him into the lineup with Morales, Smoak and our OF surplus.

    Rehabbing, his suspension is up in 9 games so probably one more rehab start and he'll be in AAA.

    Plenty of good teams are going to need innings, what kind of incentive does he have to return to a bad team? The money is going to be similar anywhere.

    From Hurls earlier post. Venezuelan catcher Javier D’Orazio and Dominican outfielder Amell Brazoban. I think our pool this year was close to $5 Million so there may still be room to extend an offer to one of the Mesa brothers.

    I wouldn't come back if I were Happ, he would be in the same position every year as a Trade candidate unless they turn this thing around next year which seems unlikely.

    They just have a terrible owner, I'm sure the majority of the people in the organization think it's incredibly stupid but they can't do anything.
