  1. Groshans promoted to Bluefield today.
  2. Eric Pardhino 7IP 1H 0ER 0BB 6K 73 Pitches
  3. Updating SRF with 92 pitches. Jansen 1-3 2B and BB
  4. Miguel Hiraldo moved up to the GCL. .313/.381/.453 2HR and 15SB for a pretty thicc dude.
  5. 5ip 4er 5h 4bb 4k 1hr
  6. Let's see if Giles can actually get a save in a pressure situation.
  7. The person who reviews the plays for us is actually really bad at his job.
  8. Read the replies if you like aids.
  9. I don't see us getting much worse/better than where we are so that probably puts us around pick 10-11.
  10. Felix Hernandez moved to the bullpen. Didn't really realize how much of a decline he's had since 2015.
  11. Lol Stroman blew up in the dugout after the HR.
  12. Osuna debuted today in SF and as expected no one gave a s***, don't even think I heard a boo. Osuna got the win too. edit: https://streamable.com/xwb4r
  13. Drafted in the 6th round (189th overall) by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2017 (signed for $175,000) The Athletics drafted Lundquist in the 36th round out of high school, but he instead went to Long Beach State and became a three-year starter for the Dirtbags. Lundquist is physically well-put together and has raw power in his 6-foot, 210-pound frame, but has struggled to get to it consistently in games. He served as Beach's leadoff hitter rather than hitting in the middle of the order for much of the season, highlighting that inability. Lundquist has a good bat path and good bat speed, but his pitch recognition is below-average and he can get out on his front side. He is an average runner with an average arm and projects as a fringe-average to average defender in left field, with just enough arm to handle right
  14. https://futurebluejays.com/2018/08/05/blue-jays-amateur-scouting-director-talks-about-the-june-draft/ Nice interview with Steve Sanders about the draft and draft process.
  15. Tellez having a pretty good year.
  16. Pardinho bounces back 5IP 5H 0ER 1BB 6K 79 Pitches
  17. Pretty big strides year over year. He was on a roll before he got hurt and seems to be picking things back up. Still only 16 games but at least now feels a little more promising.
  18. Seems like a sure thing that Gibby and most of his staff are axed in the offseason if not some point this season. I hope they are looking to buy more pitching but not dumpster dive for guys like Chatwood and Garcia again. They can do the same stuff for the bullpen with reclaimation projects and give some of the arms we have in the system a shot to go along with Tepera, Barnes, Biagini and Giles. Some moves have to happen to remove the log jam in the infield which probably leaves Solarte out either in trade or decline the option. That's about it and run with the prospects when needed.
  19. Pretty good move for Cleveland to pick up Oscar Mercado, was hoping the Jays would try to get him. His bat took off when they moved him from SS to CF.
  20. No one in their right mind would walk away from $60MM at age 33, he earned his contract and also earned his chance to rehab back even if he never makes it.
