I'm perfectly happy with what the front office is doing. They are keeping the MLB team interesting and signing prospects. Going full sell mode and tanking doesn't mean you are going to get better, we've seen top prospect after top prospect fail. All you have to do is make a playoff spot and anything can happen. I didn't think the Yankees had any shot this year with their Rotation they still took Houston to 7 games in the ALCS.

Nice pick up, I wanted us to draft this guy in 2011. Shame injuries and drugs have held him back, maybe he can be a good pen arm if not a depth starter. Crazy how fast time can pass sometimes, 6 years ago we drafted Tyler Beede.

Is it too controversial to bench Jose for September? He won't be here next year and we need to see what Hernandez can do. Definitely Urena should be there over Goins and Barney.

Watching these three rookies right now has been more exciting than all of August. I don't even have high expectations for any of them just nice to see potential over replacement guys.

Yea even if he didn't regain his secondary stuff he still was a pretty decent starter for 3 years, we've seen guys a lot shittier than Alvarez get shots at a rotation spot this year alone. We certainly could of used a guy like Alvarez with a little potential and still young. Then again everyone passed on him after his showcase and he wasn't dominating at all in Indy ball.
