    Arod said he had a couple of offers and thought about it but said the pinstripes ment more to him than playing for another team. I actually believe him cause shiity teams would be dumb not to jump on the opprotunity to sell tickets.

    It really was. I recognize the name but don't remember him as a player. I'm glad is father is being more open about it this probably happens to young professional athletes more than we hear about because of the pressures they face.

    He said that the Jays have been smart about not effecting the future with big contracts. I wasn't aware we were just talking about this offseason, my fault. I was just stating that Martins contract and Tulo's contract will effect the future whether it was AA or not. And yes we did need a legit catcher and Toronto does have to overspend to get big name players to play here I get that.

    To be fair they are going to be paying an aging catcher and SS 20 mil a year each for a while.

    Ventura was an extreme hot head on the mound. Pretty sure a couple of years ago he tweeted and said Bautista was a nobody lol. Either way he was to young and very talented. RIP.

    So confused on what the actual end game is? They clearly didn't want to tear the team down and rebuild but they aren't going all in either. It's almost like Shapiro is gunna keep a semi competitive team and maybe hoard prospects through the draft? Anybody have a better idea on what the teams actually doing?
