I think that hurt almost every Jays fan to a point. But in the back of all our heads we wanted to see the guy win and it wasn't going to happen with the Jays. I'd put him in a different category then everyone else.
If Edwin gets big money then JD will get more.
I would wait till the deadline if the Jays don't have a realistic shot then trade him if not trade him in the offseason. Hopefully Vlad learns 3B and he can be waiting in the wing in a couple of years.
With that many good arms in free agency I doubt they would all get that. Isn't it also a pitching(starters) heavy market to? or is that next year? that would bring the cost of relievers down to
