    MLB.com: ST. PETERSBURG -- David Price will not start on Saturday against the Blue Jays as scheduled. But before the conspiracy theorist can go too far, the Rays reported that their ace has not been traded, rather he's simply ill. Jake Odorizzi, who was scheduled to start Sunday, will start Saturday instead, and the Rays are hopeful that Price will be well enough to start Sunday in the finale before the All-Star break. If Price does not pitch at all in the series, it will be a blow to the Rays, since he's done particularly well against the Blue Jays. He is 14-2 with a 2.45 ERA in 18 career starts against Toronto and 7-2 with a 1.62 ERA in 10 starts at home.

    And there you go over-generalizing again We've all said, all year, that both Happ and Dickey have been frustrating with a tendency to have some really good starts and some really bad ones. You never know what you're going to get any given day from either of them. Over the last few weeks, I think (and obviously so does Gibby) that Dickey has been better than Happ. Here there is one important game in Tampa before an extended period of rest. He would really like to win it. He has chosen to give the start to Dickey instead of Happ because he thinks Dickey is more likely than Happ to help us win that game. Most of us think that's a good idea. What YOU'RE saying/intimating is that we're all a bunch of over-reactionary idiots, because we like this move by Gibby.

    Yeah he's good, but so is Buehlre Josh Johnson's implosion last year is what really makes the pitching part of the trade so sour

    Pretty sure the number of days missed due to injuries will have more to do with # starts accumulated than what "number" they've each been assigned. Buerhle will almost certainly start more games than anyone even though he wasn't our opening day starter. Morrow will start the fewest even though most would have considered him our #2 to start the season.

    Winning 2 or 3 in Tampa would be big the way we've been limping. Anything that helps is good. David - gets lots of rest over the next few days buddy. You should take tomorrow off for sure. Save it up for the all star game.
