    I DO hope Colby plays well enough to help us this year and make him worth a qualifying offer.

    Yep I've said it 100 times. I don't want to keep Colby at what he's going to get paid even now. I'm good with Gose every day in CF as long as we keep 2 good hitters in the OF with him (Cabrera or equivalent and Bautista). As long as they also shore up the infield.

    Crap, I forgot how much he struck out last year. This year seemed horrendous in that regard but it's really barely different.

    Yeah Red Sox will have a nice assortment of young and veteran position players next year. But they essentially need to buy 3-4 starters this off season. De Le Rosa may be legit. Buccholz may bounce back or may be finished, hard to tell. Who do they have MLB close in the minors?
