  1. OMG HE'S SO GOOD AND HE'S OURS NOW fap filler
  2. How much for Andrew Miller? LOLOLOL
  3. Back to Seattle
  4. Same. I'm probably good with Goins/Izturis/Travis for 2B if we added a starter and shored up the pen. Adding a starter like McCarthy would also allow Sanchez to start the year in Buffalo or in the pen, both preferable to having him in the starting rotation to start the year IYAM.
  5. Agree Went way too far
  6. Good target and we know AA is high on him He tried to get him before didn't he?? (or was it someone else he tried to get before Sanchez and Dickey)
  7. So far Jays best off season according to Sports on Earth: http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/103128256/mlb-offseason-teams-trending-upward-and-downward?partnerId=ed-8831912-658620023 FIVE TRENDING UPWARD Blue Jays 2014 wins: 83 Offseason wins acquired: +9.7 The Blue Jays have had one of the loudest offseasons in all of baseball thus far. They landed Josh Donaldson (7.4 WAR) in a trade with the A's, and they added Russell Martin (5.5) through free agency. They also pulled off a trade with the Mariners Wednesday night, adding a win by shipping J.A. Happ (1.4) to Seattle for Michael Saunders (2.4). But the Blue Jays' sky-high WAR among the players they've added is almost certainly set to drop a bit. Assuming they traded for Saunders because they are conceding that Melky Cabrera and Colby Rasmus will be headed elsewhere, their WAR will decline by four when the outfield pair officially depart. Toronto may also lose closer Casey Janssen, and for as much as they've added in terms of offense, it was the pitching staff -- with an ERA of 4.00 -- that was their biggest downfall last year.
  8. How much will Liriano get? He turned down a QO so he's compensated but he'd only cost us the second rounder now. Seems like an intriguing target.
  9. For sure. He was probably upset the Pirates didn't keep him.
  10. I agree. Zero chance on Lester I am very intrigued though that AA said SP agents were calling him saying their clients were suddenly interested after Russell Martin was acquired.
  11. I am very much looking forward to seeing Happ have to face Bautista, Edwin and Donaldson back to back to back. Could be fugly.
  12. Anyone who has played Spice Miner will appreciate your typo
  13. So this pretty much says Melky is 100% gone right?
  14. Best off season ever and it's not even close
  15. Chances he starts the 2015 season as our everyday 1B?
  16. I was about to post pretty much this word for word
  17. Is Smoak better than Edwin at 1B? Serious question, I have no idea. Both Edwin and Lind were bad defensively. Could Smoak inherit the 1B job? Equally important, will he hit better outside of Seattle or is he really a bust of a hitter? Edit: Forget it. Smoak seems to be a below average hitter AND defender at 1B according to Fangraphs. Why did we get him again?
  18. F 'n brilliant
