  1. That does not look like a man who is worried about his contract situation
  2. They are very reliant on him Even in their playoff years the Orioles were a. 500 team when he wasn't starting

  9. After all this... No he's not LOL It was a common misconception that he cleared up at a press conference one time IIRC
  10. According to Forbes, 3.4B https://www.forbes.com/pictures/mlm45gdfgj/baseballs-most-valuable/#569d67e5692b However, as burlingtonbandit said teams sell for more than their valuation, much like houses often do If the Steinbrenners decided to sell the Yankees they'd probably have several groups/people lined up willing to pay far more than 3.4B
  11. Twins would have to eat how much of that salary in order to trade him? 2017 30 Minnesota Twins $2,750,000 2018 31 Minnesota Twins $3,000,000 2019 32 Minnesota Twins $3,000,000 2020 33 Minnesota Twins *$6,500,000 $6.5M Team Option, $500k Buyout
  12. By Steve Adams | February 9, 2017 at 1:16pm CDT First baseman/designated hitter Byung Ho Park has cleared waivers and been outrighted off the Twins’ 40-man roster, reports La Velle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The team has since announced the move. Park will be in camp with the Twins as a non-roster invitee in Spring Training. Park was somewhat surprisingly designated for assignment last week in order to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for right-hander Matt Belisle, who signed as a free agent. However, the guaranteed $9.25MM remaining on Park’s contract allowed him to pass through waivers unclaimed, and he’ll now remain with the Twins and vie for a job in camp or early this season after getting in some work with the Twins’ Triple-A affiliate in Rochester.
  13. They have Jim Leyland managing after all
  14. Really though. What do they need him for they have Posey and Lucroy???
  15. Sure, they COULD have had Kershaw/Scherzer starting But damn that's still a good team
