    Atkins is HIGHLY unlikely to trade any of those key prospects for a rental. In fact I'd says almost no chance (He's not AA 1.0) He likely won't trade any of them all, and if he does it will be for a player with at LEAST 1.5 years control, and probably more, that you'll be happy he got

    Part of the problem has been that Matz and Stripling have both had stretches where they looked good enough to stick but then they keep relapsing into crap that you want out of the rotation Despite this the overall SP performance has been pretty good on average but only Ryu and Ray have been persistently good and they're the only two you'd feel good about using in a playoff series

    Yes I haven't given up on him or anything, not even close It's just so frustrating because we REALLY could have used him this year to be better than Matz and Stripling

    MLB Hoping To Return To Nine-Inning Doubleheaders, Modified Extra-Inning Rules In 2022 • By Anthony Franco TODAY: The automatic runner rule in extra innings might be modified rather than removed, USA Today’s Bob Nightengale writes. The rule could be altered so that the auto runner wouldn’t become part of the game until the 11th or 12th inning, with the first extra frame or two played until regular rules. July 13: “I don’t think seven-inning doubleheaders are going to be part of our future going forward,” MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred told reporters (including ESPN.com’s Jeff Passan and MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand) today. Additionally, Manfred also suggested that the league could do away with the modified extra-innings rule that saw a runner automatically placed on second base at the start of each extra frame.
