  3. F it. We might as well have a threat about this. So far Vlad is leading all of baseball in votes. https://www.mlb.com/news/2021-all-star-ballot-phase-1-first-standings-update https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2021/06/14/2021-mlb-all-star-game-voting-early-leaders/7687335002/
  4. Did they each play in the same number of games during that time span? Probably, but I wonder...
  5. Olerud was so slow - it was painful to watch him run
  6. Like, oh, I don't know..... the guy you used for your message board name?
  7. And yet he has 10 career home runs
  8. Players seem to like him. I'm sure he's "great in the clubhouse" I didn't think the Rays probably valued that very much Maybe he was a good match with Maddon in that role Who knows
  9. No love for Cedric Mullins yet I see Trout won't be able to play in the ASG And Mullins has been better than every other OF except Buxton Guessing he hasn't "earned" the name recognition yet that a guy like Judge gets
  10. And the Red have two guys just ionnfire in Castellanos and Winker
  11. I don't understand exactly why the Rays of all teams ever employed him What did they want/expect from him?
  12. TY All the more impressive on Tatis Jr's part obviously... He's missed quite a few games
  13. Oh Fangraphs must not have compiled all of yesterday's late games yet Edit: When I clicked refresh Tatis didn't even show up Other sites all show Tatis 19 and Vlad 21
  14. First batch of ASG votes are in:
  15. After this weekend, in all of baseball, Vlad is: 1st in WAR (4.1 WAR in 63 games LOL) 1st in wRC+ (203, second place is 184) 1st in wOBA 3rd in batting average (but still 1st in the AL) 1st in RBI (now 6 ahead of 2nd place Devers) 1st in HR (now *2* HR ahead of anyone else) - corrected 1st in OPS And he's playing a good fist base 40% of the way through the season he's easily been the best player in baseball
  16. Yeah Half a down season for Soto is meaningless Pretty hard to pick among Soto, Tatis and Guerrero Jr at this point
  17. Cashman needs to trade for a quality left handed power bat But he's afraid to make any trade he might lose
  18. And yet I couldn't agree more
  19. Hey, Keith Law! FYSMC
  20. About an hour after going 1-for-3 for High-A West Michigan, the Tigers announced Spencer Torkelson has been promoted to Double-A Erie. With an off-day Monday, his first opportunity to don the SeaWolves uniform will come Tuesday against Altoona. Torkelson torched High-A Central pitching in June, hitting .439 with 12 extra-base hits, 11 RBIs and got on base in more than half his plate appearances. Tigers No.4 prospect Dillon Dingler will join Tork in Erie as well.
