    100% And I still believe his bat will be at least league average. (Used to think would be well above average but no longer see that as likely) Elite defender Average hitter Above average speed That's a good player for 500k But he needs to mature and stop getting hurt so much as well.

    It *is* possible Izturis or Kawasaki could be just that. Izturis has looked better and better as the year goes on. With everyday playing and moving back to 2B when Lawrie is back he could actually be OK.

    It was 10:1 girls to to guys. Was pretty cool. Bribed the doorman $100 to let two of us in. We got in ahead of a lineup hundreds of people long.

    Not one person has mentioned trading Jose Reyes.

    Only sort of. Lawrie is 3B only and none of the other guys are a legit 3B option. But yes, one of the other infielders will have to be optioned or DFA.

    Well maybe a bit better than that. Rotoworld: Brett Lawrie (ankle) took grounders and some light batting practice on Wednesday afternoon. It's a nice step in the right direction for the young third baseman, who injured his ankle on a slide on May 27. He should be cleared to run the bases in about one week.     The problem is we have 3 so-so middle infielders right now in Kawasaki, Izturis and Bonifacio If we're going to pick someone up I want it to be a large upgrade or else why bother?

    After their horrible Aprils, everyone was asking which big off season mover was most likely to recover - Angels, Dodgers, or Blue Jays. No one picked the Angels. A few picked the Jays. And here we are.
