Anyone seen him in Buffalo?
Is it mental/approach/swing/plate discipline?
He's a bust unless he can get the hits up and it's discouraging in his second year of AAA
Also I do t have the stats in front of me but even his base stealing success rate is down.

Yeah. I liked that team back in 2008, especially Utley, Rollins and Victorino. But man you have to evolve, not just keep the same aging guys year after year after year.

I think he will be fine at turning DP's and throws. Agree re the hands. We may see more knock down balls and recovery throws than you normally see at 2B. At this point though I think it's worth a try IF they have a plan at third.

He is a passable fill-in at 3B but that's not good enough on a team that wants to make the playoffs next year. Izturis should be on the bench next year as backup to a legit all-around very good infield. He should not start in 150 games.
