    Just saw the play. Torn ACL at LEAST. Knee bent in an impossible angle for a second, then he collapsed in a heap yelling in pain.

    Sure does. Whether you dislike the Orioles or not, and whether they're essentially out of the playoff picture or not, nobody wants that to happen to a good young player.

    I have to say, other than maybe Mottola, I don't see/hear anything good about the coaching staff. Butterfield is sorely missed. Pitching coaches? Meh. They also clearly needed a full time catching instructor. Seems like there are a LOT of issues with the "system" in Toronto, not just the actual roster.

    Trade proposal: Rangers get: Colby Rasmus (need power), Kyle Drabek (need SP depth), Maicer Iztruis (need a cost controlled backup for Kinsler) Blue Jays get: Elvis Andrus and Jake Skole or Engel Beltre

    What would Texas want though?? I doubt they want the offensive downgrade that Profar would be.

    Still hurts that we traded away a 2-3 WAR 5M/year shortstop doesn't it?

    Yep. That might be OK if we had a good performing LF for once, and a catcher who wasn't terrible.

    Reyes 2B and Andrus SS? Nice (very nice) but crazy expensive.

    They should go hard for Choo and trade a good middle IF and Nathan for a starter.

    Good points. Rangers obviously still don't know what to do with their three middle infielders. Profar May or may not develop in to what they expected, and in the meantime they're paying Kinsler a lot of $ and he spends a lot of time on the DL.

    Star: Some have said the dispute between you and J.P. Arencibia has gotten personal. Has it? Zaun: It was personal for him. I have never attacked him as a person. I was a supporter of his, but he hit below the belt. If he had a problem with the way I was doing my job, he could have called me or emailed me. We live in the modern world. If you can’t get in touch with someone, you really aren’t trying. I’m no longer interested in the success or the failure of J.P. Arencibia. I could have been, and should have been a resource for him. I guess he thought he had it all figured out.

    Holy s***. I just looked and had no idea how bad of a season he'd had in Texas. Wow. Top 10 'prospect in all of baseball last year? .233 BA .287 wOBA and 72 wRC? And non elite UZR. I presumed he'd be much better than this. Though he still doesnt have a full MLB season under his belt.
