  2. Perfect deal for both sides
  3. f***, dude will only be 27 when (if) he hits free agency! DAMN he gonna get paid.
  4. Yep, sounds about right Ladies and gentlemen, meet your 2017 starting right fielder for the New York Yankees

  6. He would actually be a good pickup for a speed-starved NL on a 1 year 2M dollar deal
  7. Chris Cotillo ‏@ChrisCotillo Source: Emilio Bonifacio cleared release waivers, and is now a free agent.
  8. Someone's gonna pay him. That's for sure.
  9. Giancarlo Stanton open to extension Updated: February 12, 2014, 12:18 PM ET ESPN.com news services Giancarlo Stanton is open to the idea of staying in South Florida, provided the Miami Marlins establish "security" in terms of keeping their other talented players. Stanton, who agreed to a $6.5 million deal last month to avoid arbitration, said in a recent interview with MLB.com that he wants to see the Marlins "going in the right direction" before considering a long-term deal. Giancarlo Stanton has 117 career home runs in just four seasons and has been the subject of frequent trade speculation. "I want some team security as well," Stanton told MLB.com. "I'm very pleased with how things panned out for me. But I would like to see [the team] grow. I have my security somewhat now. I'd like to see a team full of that." The 24-year-old Stanton, who is eligible to become a free agent after the 2016 season, said he does not expect to talk about an extension until after this upcoming season.
  10. Directionless team is directionless
  11. The Jays need a reliable mid rotation starter in the worst way. That way if Morrow and Hutch are good it's a good rotation, and if they're not it's much less of a disaster. Pay Santana or Jimenez 13M for a few years and be done with it FFS.
  12. Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 1m Burnett with #Phillies - one year, $16M. Other details to come.
  13. I seriously hope not. The sadest part though is that's who AA probably coveted the most out of the 3 for some reason anyway.
  14. This off season:
  15. Yeah 1 year 16M or whatever it turns out to be would have been nice for us. But Burnett presumably chooses Philadelphia over us for home and NL reasons.
  16. Merged all three into BTS's Just cause I'm nice like that
  17. It's OK, we both punked angrioter. We rule.
