It seems weird that all these players would suddenly agree to get vaccinated after holding out THIS long. Still, with the players now not getting paid on the COVID IL, Judge stands to lose almost $1 mil if he doesn't. That's a lot of motivation.

I wouldn't write them off yet. The Raps have looked terrible in certain road buildings before and turned things around. It sure would have been nice to take one on the road, but whether we lost the way we did or by 1 each game, the end result is the same. There's one thing about Nick Nurse. He isn't going to keep doing the same thing and hoping for a different result.

Yeah. It would still allow reasonable shifting, it would just eliminate some of the extreme measures. A team could still rotate an outfielder to the shallow outfield or infield, but at least that would create a more dangerous hole.

Refs are very clearly rewarding aggressiveness above all else. We need more double teams (which they've started to do) and hard drives ourselves. The last few possessions were pretty good.

It definitely hurts, but we basically played last game without Trent anyway who was probably hurting us out there trying to play through whatever it was. I'd like to see us come out with Precious and Boucher in the starting lineup and see if we can counter some of the rebounding. That's what killed us last game.

I'd say both location and pitch sequences. Maybe they need to give Ryu the communications thingy and Kirk the receiver lol.

I'd actually leave Ryu out there. He and Kirk need to figure it out. I'd rather ruin one game now than 5 more later.

Ryu is hard to get on the same page with as a catcher and he likes to get his pitch quick. Kirk has more experience with him than Collins who may not have caught him yet even in bullpens. The bigger question would be why Springer isn't the DH instead of Collins.

Ricky Romero's knees were single handedly responsible for destroying Ricky Romero. Maddon was probably living rent free in his head though.
