  1. I'd do Delabar because I think someone else would give us something more valuable for Hamilton. However, I think I'd actually prefer Gose to Hamilton on our squad. Maybe a little less speed, but elite D.
  2. It'll be interesting to see what the contract details are, are that should really give an idea as to where the A's feel salary inflation is headed. I do find it rather amusing that people here tend to think that players shouldn't be locked up so early, yet so many organizations including the A's are doing it after one or two years - the A's on a reliever no less.
  3. I would assume they'll get Johnson back in that role first as soon as possible so they can extract something for him at the deadline.
  4. Probably more like A lol. That is as ugly as swing as you can get.
  5. Can we give fatcow an "official jinx of the Blue Jays" title?
  6. Of course the weather is playing a part in this, but it's the same weather for both sides. It's a cause, but not an excuse.
  7. Can we bring up someone with better command, like Romero?
  8. Interesting. Loewen signs with Phillies and will attempt to come back again as a pitcher.
  9. Looks like there's a show called Numbers Never Lie on TSN 2 in a few minutes, where athletes and stats guys will debate against each other. Not sure how old the program is, but might be amusing (or really dumb).
  10. Yes, but the HP ump has been equally bad for both sides.
  11. Dickey starting to get really ticked at the ump. Never seen him stare at the ump so often before.
  12. With the possible exception of Colby (who can stay warm in the clubhouse between at bats), I wouldn't expect to see many hard hit balls today.
  13. I bet that strike zone gets larger as the ump gets colder lol
  14. Man, if Thole takes a foul ball of the bare arms in this weather, it's gonna hurt like hell.
  15. Tight strike zone could be a problem with the knuckleball
  16. I think Edwin is finding out why Jose wore the sunglasses lol
  17. They are apparently hoping he'll be back this weekend. Looks like it's feeling quite a bit better today.
  18. I'm a little concerned with the knuckleball in this weather, especially with whether he has enough feel in his fingers to throw it.
  19. There's no way in hell you QO him. Considering his injury issues the last few years though, it's quite possible we may be able to resign him at a decent price this offseason if we choose to.
