Yeah, I know what you're getting at. I think the NBA has a lot of rules that owners have to agree to when they buy a team that allows them to make good on the fine and forcing a team sale. Banning him from the sport for life for his comments might be questionable to stick though.

I don't see us getting any free agent SP next year regardless of direction of the team. The interesting part will come regarding what we do with outfield bats.

I can remember a few players claiming that balls didn't hit them when they did in that situation, and I'm pretty sure Carter was one. I think Delgado was another. The logic is dumb, but they're right about players doing it.

That play at 3rd is the kind that the replay has really helped. Lawrie probably gets tossed there prior to this year, instead he yells for Gibbons to challenge it.
