  1. http://mlbstartingnine.com/ seems decent. They only seem to post them when the lineup comes from a reputable source (like a team's twitter feed). Once in a while they change last minute if a manager makes a last minute adjustment. For Fanduel purposes, sometimes the lineups aren't posted for late games until it's too late, but they probably aren't confirmed anywhere else for those games either.
  2. I believe it's to guard against bad weather cancelling the season opener.
  3. Yeah. Really bad luck at the end, but we probably deserved to lose it anyway.
  4. If I had to pick one, I'd probably say Cleveland. I wouldn't die from shock with any of the teams taking it though.
  5. He doesn't hit for power and plays decent defense. I wouldn't worry about the D-backs wanting him.
  6. I'm waaaaay higher on Castellanos than most people here, but that trade is a no-brainer. Maybe Betts struggles (certainly not improbable), but Castellanos isn't established enough to be considered a much safer pick anyway.
  7. vs Tanaka (RHP) Reyes (4pts) - guylaroche5, BBBB jays4life19, o2cui2i,Frenchsoup Martin (3pts) - Jonn Bautista (1pt) - King, Dylan Edwin (1pt) - LetTheBallFly Abomination Donaldson (1pt) - Orgfiller,baseballsss Smoak (2pts) - Deadpool, GD, Angrioter Pillar (6pts) - Pompey (6pts) - Atothe, Theblujay, 43211234 Travis (5pts) - Navarro (3pts) -
  8. It's spring training for the umps too lol. I don't know how you can be in such perfect position and still blow it so badly though.
  9. That WAS an interesting pitch. Didn't really behave like you'd expect from a cutter though, almost more like Dickey's hard high knuckler.
  10. The arbitrator is probably looking for a new job too. Isn't that what happened with the last one that gave the MLB an outcome they didn't like?
  11. He'd probably get better pay developing and publishing projections on the internet.
  12. I haven't seen one posted for him yet (most aren't being shown). Could be that they're still calibrating the guns. Pineda LOOKS noticeably faster though.
  13. In this televised Yankee - Pirates game (instead of the Jays ), Burnett seems to be topping out at 88-89 mph. Not sure how accurate the radar gun is, but that's a pretty large drop if true.
  14. I'm surprised Sam LeCure cleared waivers. With the number of teams looking for reasonably priced middle relief, you'd think someone would have been happy to snag him.
  15. It's probably not out of the question that he could be in September.
  16. I'm not sure if this program still works or not, or if MLB has changed what's available, but it might be worth your while checking out. http://sourceforge.net/projects/baseballonastic/
  17. I really think he'll be okay this year. I have no doubts that there will be the odd game like today though.
  18. Yeah, I get that. Theo has a right to keep him in the minors if he wants to, just as Bryant and Boras have the right to raise hell over it. This is something that really needs to get changed by MLB though. Unless there's something really funky in his contract, I don't think he's being paid millions yet (at least not by his employer, he probably has some nice merchandising deals). MiLB players don't usually get a whole lot.
  19. I really dislike Boras in general, but in this case he and Bryant have absolutely every right to blow up over this.
  20. Kind of cool little infographic:
  21. Lol, 23 goals and 22 assists this week. Where was this back when it would have mattered for me?
  22. Sent you a trade offer via Fantrax for the LOD. Not sure if you have them automatically notify your email or not.
  23. Yeah, for me it's Heaney >> Martinez > Odorizzi.
  24. Rondon is interesting. Good stuff, expected to be a future closer. His weight has to be a little worrying though, and I kind of wonder how his stuff will hold up longer term unless he gets it down a bit.
  25. I picked him up in the PL 3 days ago, so I think he's been a FA for a bit now.
