    I like Stroman's stuff slightly better than the other two choices I felt were appropriate here, however, the other ones would have been a little safer I think. Getting to cheer for him extra hard every 5 days is rather nice too.

    I think it's just several groups of people with different philosophies. One rips one kind of move, another rips the other. Then there's the third group that waits until they see the direction of the prevailing winds and pile on.

    Yeah, but have you linked it to an address you use all the time (like added to the email app in your phone for example), or one you check once a day, etc? A lot of people on here don't trust using their normal email addresses for the fantasy leagues.

    If he's going to be your co-manager, you really need to get an actual everyday email address from him where you can quickly get ahold of him. We all know he's inbox challenged.

    I'm not sure that kind of pick is egregious at this point in the draft, just risky. I would have thought he could have been had a round or two later if people had a boner for him, but after seeing a few comments, I'm not so sure he would have lasted that long.

    One thing these drafts do is give you an idea of how people value certain players. Very useful for making trades in other leagues.

    Fantasy lists or real life ones, because one is taken out of context with the rest of the discussion? I don't think even Boxy would argue that Winker would be above Arcia in a real life one.

    Yeah, my farm is s***. I freely admit it. And yes I own Liriano (in more than one league), but that has nothing to do with why I'm suggesting we pick him up.

    Probably not too far off, minus SB and a worse park. Everything else is likely a tossup.

    I would have strongly considered him myself if I didn't already have Correa.

    I was strongly considering the pitcher, but I'm going to go with Joc Pederson. BB is on the clock.

    I'd blast people for name dropping if it wasn't for the fact that I'd be very happy if Connor took one of those guys instead of who I have my eye on.

    Rymer Liriano was DFA'd for some reason. He'd be a great pickup for us. Young outfielder with some upside.

    I think it's hard to complain about a consistent 135 to 140 wRC+ from a 26 year old. There could still be some more to come too. He probably wouldn't have been my choice, but I don't think it's a reach.

    I left my pick at #7 with BTS (hopefully he doesn't mind) as I won't be around until tomorrow evening.
