  1. Assuming there isn't a stat correction that gives him another assist. That was quite the day he had. Scared the crap out of me.
  2. Yeah, but if the draft is happening before cutdown it affects what players I might be willing to cut now in the playoffs.
  3. The dispersal draft happens before cutdown, right?
  4. I don't know when I first signed up, but the forums underwent at least two resets since.
  5. I think the problem for Sanchez with the secondary pitches is that the curve is such a big breaking curve. With his fastball down in the zone, any pitch the batter sees start up in the zone is likely the curve and easier to pick out. If he could add a four seam fastball up in the zone, the curve and sinker probably become deadly.
  6. Career numbers as a reliever (smaller sample sizes for Osuna and Sanchez obviously): Storen: 3.09 FIP, 3.46 xFIP Osuna: 3.02 FIP, 3.45 xFIP Sanchez: 2.93 FIP, 3.15 xFIP
  7. They're just cranky that players today get millions of dollars a year and they didn't, which happened after the nerds figured out how to turn baseball into a big, profitable business.
  8. Barney trying to spread some of his fortune at the plate to the opposition...
  9. Noooo ... and yeah!
  10. The poll is who WILL be, not who SHOULD be.
  11. Almost certainly PST
  12. Better might not mean more effective (depending on the pitcher). Martin may choose better sequences, but if the pitchers are more comfortable with the sequences that Navarro calls, even if less optimal, the end result could still be better.
  13. I think he's complaining that they aren't sharing how to do so with him.
  14. It seems doubtful he'd be fantasy relevant even playing in Coors.
  15. 1. There was no point in countering, because I was rejecting the framework. 2. I said for I believe the last 3 trade offers that I didn't want to trade Strome yet the offers all still involved him, even after I said to forget about deals involving the players we were talking about. When I finally suggested the kind of player I would need to obtain (not straight up I assumed was implied) in order for it to be worth it for me to trade him, you didn't like it and posted it. 3. I'm done with this conversation. This s*** should have been argued about in private.
  16. Only way to stop the offer spam after I repeatedly said I didn't want to trade Strome. I never actually said it would be straight up though.
  17. I'd be willing to make small deals at the deadline. I won't take away from my core or future as I doubt I'll make it out of the first round of the playoffs (nor should I), but I am willing to monkey with secondary pieces a bit. Send me ideas if you can think of anything interesting.
  18. Does yahoo have a position eligibility matrix for hockey like it does for baseball?
  19. Wasn't Puig the one who quit driving because he couldn't help but drive at stupid speeds? Learning to fly makes perfect sense
  20. So ... are you buying or selling? It's odd to talk about selling picks, prospects, and some of the players you mentioned.
  21. Stroman wins the AL Cy Bautista hits 50 home runs Sanchez makes 30+ starts and puts up at least 3 WAR Colabello gets the majority of the starts at 1B and is above average defensively
  22. It's basically the same play over and over with no adjustment being made.
