  1. That was done a few days ago, although some players may not be on rosters if they aren't in the database (Nichushkin for me, for example)
  2. No, my point is I don't think Yahoo lets you start the league until after the keeper date (and we should have a few day's warning on that to facilitate trades).
  3. Need to set a date for people to set their keepers by first I think.
  4. Yeah, worth taking a look at him, but he's clearly not the solution.
  5. In a lot of ways, his next season was even more impressive. 32.4% walk rate, 7.7% k rate (giving him an absurd .582 obp).
  6. I think Zobrist would make some sense. He's still a neutral to plus defender, and can play both 2nd and OF (other positions in a pinch). The Cubs really don't need him anymore, and would probably be just as happy to drop the salary. After his injury riddled summer which destroyed his numbers, he's starting to hit again.
  7. I suspect we'll see Saunders (who is on a tear right now). Not the interesting guy in the way you mean, but someone who I think there's a strong likelihood we may sign/extend again in the offseason.
  8. I'm not thrilled about it in isolation, but I assume Teoscar will be up in a few days. I'd be much happier if it was Carrera that was DFAd.
  9. We've been drawing very strongly even against teams you wouldn't expect to be big draws, while basically being out of the race. People are just enjoying coming to the ballpark again it seems.
  10. FFS Montero. A little lucky his throw to second didn't end up in the outfield too.
  11. Pretty impressed with Anderson today, outside of the first inning.
  12. That was a very lucky inning. Lots of hard contact.
  13. Huh? I don't see a trade listed anywhere.
  14. Not sure I like Morales versus Kimbrel's slider.
  15. I'm sure we'll still lose the game, but adding a few runs to Kimbrel's tally always feels good.
  16. Apparently the Rays suspended Honeywell for four games (apparently he's been very unhappy about not being called up yet).
  17. This, it's also a projection for the rest of the season at the major league level, not for what it was at the start of the season.
  18. Yeah, 50-50 imo. Don't have an issue with the call.
  19. FFS, if we're gonna sacrifice, at least do it with someone who knows how.
  20. Over / under on how many more innings before Angel throws someone out?
  21. BABIP for AL starters this year is .297. Stroman is at .312, which is almost exactly in line with what he did last year. He isn't having a lucky BABIP year.
  22. There has to be more to it that isn't mentioned, like maybe the Rangers wanting the entire gate from the three games too or something. I understand the Rangers not wanting to upset their schedule when people make plans well ahead of time, but given Houston is going to Tropicana instead, it wouldn't make sense to make that move just because the Rangers wouldn't swap series.
  23. Biagini might need to tighten up the curve a little. It looks like there's very little margin for error in actually throwing a strike with it. You can get away with that as a reliever where guys don't see much of you, but much tougher as a starter. Halladay had the same problem when he came up with the knuckle curve, which he later abandoned for a more traditional one. The knuckle curve broke so much he couldn't throw strikes with it.
