  1. Yeah, they really should. Call it the Cleveland Rockers or something (for the rock and roll hall of fame). Lots of marketing opportunities there.
  2. Yeah, but now I've got other guys to sell after adding more lol. For Sale: Renfroe, Heaney, Zack Wheeler, Tulo, Wilmer Flores, Cotton, Mahtook, Vogt, Mesoraco, Lorenzen, Zych, Casey Gillaspie.
  3. Not NBA, but figured it deserved to be posted: https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2018/01/28/basketball-long-shot-goal-high-school.cnn
  4. Yeah, this is what I think too. I'd love to be wrong, just because it would be really fun to watch. At least he can leave the bat in the minors until we know.
  5. Very high imo, and that's assuming Ohtani is healthy. He might struggle with wins a little though as Tampa kinda retools beyond their normal retooling.
  6. I definitely like it for you, and that's with not being very high on Florial or Kingery.
  7. They'd have to count as two players for everything EXCEPT the cutdown.
  8. Yeah, as long as we do it with other guys too if they look like they may become true two-way players.
  9. Bump. Still looking for 2 managers!
  10. We need four replacement managers for the BBDL (a 20 team dynasty league entering its 5th season). There will be a dispersal draft for the assets of the outgoing teams, and some of they are stacked so there's plenty of talent available. Please let us know if you are interested!
  11. You talking about Boxy's "it's not a stupid ass auction" auction, or BTS and the Hobbit?
  12. There were rumors of a scenario that had us eating a contract, wasn't there? Assuming that was Chen, which seems likely, Morales probably would have been headed in the opposite direction.
  13. I feel like it may take them a bit longer this year. I'll say the 6th, one week before spring training reporting dates.
  14. It's certainly looking that way.
  15. Man do I wish Ohtani hadn't been given out as compensation, given I'm sitting with the #1 waiver pick...
  16. Really different for everyone. IMO the top 2 or 3 waiver picks may be 1st round MiLB pick level depending on who is available, but then after that there tends not to be a lot of talent differentiation in the waiver draft.
  17. This seems unlikely. You can maybe hope for one star, plus one or two solid regulars.
  18. A lot of them will probably be from cuts, which won't happen until the cutdown date.
  19. I wonder who the salary coming back would have been? Would we have eaten that ugly Chen contract?
  20. Based on other reports (them apparently asking for Bo AND Vlad earlier), it's also possible that they really don't like Bo or Alford. That might have had more to do with it than anything else.
  21. If we were that close on the package, I wonder if we will now push to sign Cain?
  22. That's how I kinda read it too, but the flexibility IS there that it should still be a possibility. They could have been after Ozuna or someone else, and then taken a few days for the other deals to shake out.
  23. I think the team is very clearly better for the next year or two by doing that. The Giants would make sense as a trading partner for Pillar. The Cubs might too as he'd be an upgrade over Almora probably, but they already have a bit of an outfield glut. Cleveland makes sense, but there's no way they'd do it for Salazar. Maybe to the Royals for someone like Jake Junis? Maybe to the Pirates for Nova? The Braves could be a good destination for Pearce. Pearce seems like the kind of guy Seattle would target for CF...
