  1. Lol, the officiating in this Heat/Clippers game is hilarious. All sorts of phantom technicals and stuff.
  2. We came out cold as hell, and the shots really weren't even close to going in. Give the Nets some credit too though, they've played hard.
  3. Whew, didn't think I'd be glad to see overtime a few hours ago.
  4. Man, most of these shots aren't even close.
  5. A technical on THAT?
  6. Well, the O's got Villar and two prospects at the deadline. If he sucked it up, the one year deal at that price isn't really damaging. If he put up a year like he did in 2017, you probably get something interesting.
  7. This was NOT the night to ignore Henry in DFS...
  8. Garcia projects slightly better, but not so much so that it matters that much. Average fastball lefty with a decent track record versus an older right-handed fireballer. Same control. Dunno, I guess it looked weirder when I saw the ages rather than the control.
  9. That's ... weird.
  10. Reported for intentionally quoting that unnecessarily.
  11. Well that's what Boras would say, but that's a lot of money before you've every played a major league game, and nothing in the game is guaranteed no matter how good a prospect you are. That would have to be pretty tempting I would think.
  12. I wonder what the response would be if we were to say, we're not competing next year and we want Vladdy as long as possible when we do. We'll offer him, say $15 million, to remain in the minors voluntarily until mid-may 2020 or whatever. Yeah, it may cost him some money for one year as a free agent, but for a young player it would also give him some financial guarantee early in his career.
  13. That wall of text ...
  14. The worthwhile part is flipping him at the deadline if he performs well, while giving guys like Bichette an extra half year to get ready.
  15. I'd take him at 7.5 million to man 2nd for us next year.
  16. I feel like this has been his best game so far, and I don't think he's fully there yet.
  17. JV has some energy tonight!
  18. Yeah, can't be mad when the effort is there. Man, we've gotta start making some of these though. Maybe we need to park JV out there
  19. I like Weaver as well. I think this is a very good return for one year of Goldy. Now from a fantasy perspective, Weaver going to ARI is not what I wanted to see.
  20. Do they still have the thing where the players are expected to date the cheerleaders?
  21. Luke Weaver, Carson Kelly, and Andrew Young apparently.
  22. Apparently this will be a thing again: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2809366-xfl-announces-new-york-los-angeles-more-as-inaugural-cities-for-2020-launch?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial
  23. 140M WITH deferrals? Good God, that contract is gonna be a disaster imo.
  24. Wow. He had one hell of a year, but that's a long contract to give someone who relies mostly on the slider, and has had TJS probably in part because of it.
  25. Seriously, with 7 seconds left you call THAT with all the other stuff going on in this game? Also, holy crap, even though it didn't count I can't believe Jokic made that!
