I think he's trolling the writers. All he says is that Vlad isn't a major league player yet, which he's correct in saying ... he hasn't played a MLB game yet.
Looks like there was both a January and June draft. He was drafted in the January one.

To be fair, we ate 37.5M AND paid 5M to "upgrade" Tulo to Freddy Galvis. If that's not an insult, I don't know what is. Tulo did mention how thankful he was to the training staff for all the hard work they put in with him.
I personally see Borucki as a #3 starter if he stays healthy enough to make most of his starts every year. I think we'll see his stuff play up as he settles into the league. He's not Buehrle though.

I'm not sure about this part. Seems to me that could really prevent pitchers from controlling the running game. Maybe the pitcher can start their motion 10 seconds before the timer whether the batter is in the box or not would make more sense.
