    My DFS approach for the big contest tonight is outside shooting while figuring Siakam and Green are going to either struggle inside or get tied up with so much defending their offense gets shuttered. That probably means both will have huge nights...

    This. Him being on the floor will likely help the Raps more than Igodala taking those minutes. I suppose if he just eats Bogut's 5 minutes in the first game or so, that would benefit them.

    Actually, I like the no farms for it. That would eliminate most of the bookkeeping too, and shouldn't be necessary like it is in other leagues anyway.

    They should just create a new show, Things Fans in the Stands are Doing While Not Watching the Blue Jays. This series in Tampa may not be the ideal setting for episode one though.

    Lol, TSN is showing a regular season replay of the Toronto - Golden State game. That had me freaked out for a moment when I saw it on the listing.

    They traded away an ace / past ace on a VERY team friendly contract. Stroman isn't anywhere close to the same situation. Honestly though, I feel like unless someone bowls us over, I'd rather just extend him. I don't feel like he'll produce the kind of return that would make us really happy, unless a contender gets really desperate at the deadline and overpays.

    I think it's pretty clear at this point that there's not much use in continuing to try to find ways of dealing with it. He's going to have to change his grip (and possibly fastball type). Maybe Rich Hill will succeed in petitioning baseball to allow him to wear tape on his finger. If that happens, then maybe Sanchez has a shot at keeping his current repertoire.

    I suspect it happened early on, or possibly while he was warming up. He didn't look right.

    I don't think so (it should just grow itself back out). They experimented with removing parts of it in the past, but I think that was to combat the blisters.

    Apparently the blisters are caused from his fastball. One advantage of the pen is he could throw a much higher percentage of curves - and that is a really nasty pitch for him. I do kind of wonder if pitching out of the pen might cause the blisters to build up more than as a starter where he has more time in between appearances though.

    I managed to bench 6 home runs this week Sometimes there's a downside to hitting depth ... but not often.
