  1. I think they discovered why that play wasn't challenged. It sounds like the dugout wanted interference called against the batter. It's likely the video guy was looking at that initially rather than second base, then the time to challenge ran out.
  2. Bregman's home run was a cheapie. THAT one was not.
  3. I hope not. It doesn't say anything about one.
  4. Hard to blame Montoya, he can't see the video. He has to go off of what the video guy tells him.
  5. It looks like 10PM Sportsnet Pacific. I think it'll be the first time I've seen a game there since I was a kid (although that was live).
  6. Apparently Sportsnet is airing the Vancouver Canadians game tomorrow.
  7. That's really a beautiful swing by Bregman.
  8. I don't think it was intentional, but it was actually pretty smart. There was no way they were going to get a shot off there, but it gave them a chance.
  9. Yeah, the bad calls have been both ways, at least on a few occasions.
  10. Not in the cylinder my ass.
  11. Green blocked Klay from behind (a foul was called, but it was a generous one), who twisted around on his leg as he landed and spent the next few minutes rolling around on the floor in pain. Went to the locker room, came out about a minute later, and took the free throws while moving around pretty well. He DID leave the game immediately after though, so take that as you will.
  12. That's quite the recovery.
  13. Hate to see that, but that's a big break for us.
  14. They're trying to protect the players from guys running out and "accidentally" undercutting them, which is dangerous. They need to do a better job of calling the offensive foul when the player kicks out their feet to draw contact though. Of course, you could argue that half the contact under the net that they don't call is just as dangerous.
  15. Really gotta hold your breath when Curry shoots, no matter where he is. It's insane how close he makes those full court shots.
  16. Lowry came to play!
  17. Yeah, that would be my guess too. DK doesn't usually change a status to something incorrect just before a game though.
  18. Anyone know if Klay is playing tonight? DK shows him as being out, but I can't verify that anywhere else.
  19. I think he normally calls it verbally before showing it visually. I hate it though.
  20. SN1 never switched their feed back over to the Jays game. I had it on in the background and didn't realize our game started.
  21. Yeah, ideally they would have won it last game at home. I definitely would rather win tonight on the road than face a game 7.
  22. Even the ball likely isn't. The gloves are wet too, as well as the ump's ball bag. It doesn't take much moisture to be difficult to grip.
  23. If it isn't, then it's the only dry thing left in the stadium.
  24. I don't think anyone can grip the ball atm.
